Bosuvi 100 mg (Bosutinib 100 mg)

Bosuvi 100 mg, also known as Bosutinib 100 mg, is an approved kinase inhibitor for the treatment of chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) in adult patients, whether newly diagnosed in the chronic phase or in the chronic, accelerated, or blast phase with prior therapy resistance or intolerance.

Bosutinib Dosage: 

For newly-diagnosed chronic phase Ph+ CML, take 400mg once daily with food.

• For chronic, accelerated, or blast phase Ph+ CML with resistance or intolerance to prior therapy, take 500mg once daily with food.
• If complete hematologic, cytogenetic, or molecular response is not achieved and there are no Grade 3 or greater adverse reactions, the dosage may be increased by 100mg once daily, up to a maximum of 600mg daily.
• Adjust the dosage as necessary for observed toxicity or organ impairment.

Bosutinib Side Effects: 

If you take Bosutinib, there is a possibility that you may experience various side effects, and seeking medical assistance immediately is important if you do. These side effects include stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or blood in your stools. In addition, Bosutinib may cause low blood cell counts, including platelet, red blood cell, and white blood cell counts, which will be monitored by your doctor during treatment.

Bosutinib may also lead to liver problems, heart problems, fluid retention, and kidney problems. It is advisable to contact your doctor immediately if you experience any symptoms such as jaundice, dark urine, shortness of breath, chest pain, swelling in your hands, ankles or feet, changes in urination patterns, or unexpected bleeding or bruising.

Common side effects of Bosutinib in patients with CML include diarrhea, rash, nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, tiredness, liver problems, respiratory tract infections, fever, headache, and changes in certain blood tests. Your doctor may perform blood tests during your treatment to check for any changes.
