Bosutris 500 mg (Bosutinib 500 mg)

Bosutris 500 mg, also known as  Bosutinib 500 mg, is a kinase inhibitor approved for the treatment of adult patients with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) that is newly diagnosed and in the chronic phase, and for those in the chronic, accelerated, or blast phase with resistance or intolerance to previous therapies.

Bosutinib Dosage:

The recommended dosage and administration for Bosutris 500 are as follows:

1. For newly-diagnosed chronic phase Ph+ CML, take 400mg orally once daily with food.
2. For chronic, accelerated, or blast phase Ph+ CML with resistance or intolerance to prior therapy, take 500mg orally once daily with food.
3. If complete hematologic, cytogenetic, or molecular response is not achieved and Grade 3 or greater adverse reactions are not present, consider increasing the dose by 100mg once daily up to a maximum of 600mg daily.
4. Adjust the dosage for any observed toxicity or organ impairment.

Bosutinib Side Effects: 

Bosutinib may cause various side effects, and you should seek medical help immediately if you experience any of them. These include stomach pain, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, or blood in your stools. Additionally, Bosutinib may cause low blood cell counts, such as low platelet, red blood cell, and white blood cell counts. Your doctor will monitor your blood cell counts regularly during your treatment.

Bosutinib may also cause liver problems, heart problems, fluid retention, and kidney problems. You should immediately contact your doctor if you experience any symptoms, such as jaundice, dark urine, shortness of breath, chest pain, swelling in your hands, ankles or feet, changes in urination patterns, or unexpected bleeding or bruising.

The most common side effects of Bosutinib in patients with CML include diarrhea, rash, nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, tiredness, liver problems, respiratory tract infections, fever, headache, and changes in certain blood tests. Your doctor may perform blood tests during your treatment to check for any changes.
