Bosutris 100 mg (Bosutinib 100 mg)

Bosutris 100 mg, also referred to as Bosutinib 100 mg, is a kinase inhibitor that has received approval for treating adult patients with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) in the newly diagnosed chronic phase as well as in the chronic, accelerated, or blast phase with resistance or intolerance to prior therapies.

Bosutinib Dosage:

• Newly-diagnosed chronic phase Ph+ CML: take 400mg orally once daily with food.
• Chronic, accelerated, or blast phase Ph+ CML with resistance or intolerance to prior therapy: take 500mg orally once daily with food.
• In case of incomplete hematologic, cytogenetic, or molecular response and absence of Grade 3 or greater adverse reactions, consider a dose escalation of 100mg once daily, up to a maximum of 600mg daily.
• Adjust the dosage as needed for observed toxicity or organ impairment.

Bosutinib Side Effects: 

If you take Bosutinib, you may experience various side effects. If you do, it is important to seek medical help right away. These side effects include stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or blood in your stools. Additionally, Bosutinib may cause low blood cell counts, including platelet, red blood cell, and white blood cell counts. Your doctor will monitor your blood cell counts during your treatment.

Bosutinib may also cause liver problems, heart problems, fluid retention, and kidney problems. If you experience symptoms such as jaundice, dark urine, shortness of breath, chest pain, swelling in your hands, ankles or feet, changes in urination patterns, or unexpected bleeding or bruising, you should contact your doctor immediately.

Common side effects of Bosutinib in patients with CML include diarrhea, rash, nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, tiredness, liver problems, respiratory tract infections, fever, headache, and changes in certain blood tests. Your doctor may perform blood tests during your treatment to check for any changes.
