Capmatinib 200 mg, also marketed as Rahika 200 mg, is a kinase inhibitor prescribed to treat metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in adults with tumors that have a mutation leading to mesenchymal-epithelial transition (MET) exon 14 skipping, as confirmed by an FDA-approved test.
Administering CAPMATINIB should be based on the identification of a mutation causing MET exon 14 skipping in the patient.
The recommended dose of CAPMATINIB is 400 mg taken orally twice daily, with or without food.

Capmatinib Side Effects:
• Lung problems: CAPMATINIB can cause inflammation in the lungs, which may be life-threatening. If you develop new or worsening symptoms like cough, fever, or difficulty breathing, contact your healthcare provider right away.
• Liver abnormalities: CAPMATINIB may cause abnormal liver function test results. Your healthcare provider will perform liver function tests before and during treatment with CAPMATINIB. If you notice any signs or symptoms of liver problems, including yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes (jaundice), dark or tea-colored urine, light-colored stools, confusion, tiredness, or loss of appetite lasting several days or more, inform your healthcare provider immediately.
• Pancreatic disorders: CAPMATINIB may increase blood amylase and/or lipase levels, which may be indicative of pancreatic disorders. Your healthcare provider will perform pancreatic function tests before and during treatment with CAPMATINIB. If you experience any symptoms of pancreatic problems, such as upper abdominal pain that worsens with eating and spreads to the back, weight loss, nausea, or vomiting, notify your healthcare provider immediately.
